Установка Unified Remote

Первым делом необходимо скачать и установить сервер Unified Remote на используемые устройства: телефон и компьютер.

• Загружать программу на ПК или ноутбук следует исключительно с официального сайта разработчика (https://www.unifiedremote.com/download), выбрав соответствующую операционную систему. Процесс установки довольно простой, и не требует от пользователя какой-либо серьёзной настройки. Единственное — во время данной процедуры приложение запросит разрешение на добавление нового драйвера, необходимого для успешной синхронизации. Предоставьте доступ и следуйте дальнейшим шагам. Также мы не рекомендуем вносить изменения в параметры, выставленные по умолчанию.

• Чтобы скачать соответствующее приложение на смартфон, достаточно открыть Play Маркет (для владельцев платформы Android) или App Store (для владельцев iPhone) и ввести в строку поиска «Unified Remote». После перехода на страничку с программой загрузите и установите её на свой девайс.

Основное требование для корректной работы — подключение каждого устройства к одной Wi-Fi сети. Кроме того, можно использовать альтернативный вариант, соединив их между собой при помощи Bluetooth.

ВАЖНО. Если в ходе подключения вы столкнулись с какими-либо проблемами или ошибками, попробуйте отключить сторонние антивирусы или файрволлы на обоих аппаратах и проверить, помогло ли это решить проблему

Basic Input — управление курсором мыши. Теребим по экрану — курсор движется. Одно нажатие — один клик, двумя — щелчок правой кнопкой мыши и др. Таким нехитрым способом можно управлять компьютером с телефона.

File manager — доступ к файлам и папкам компьютера с телефона. 

Отсюда можно скачать, открыть и удалить файлы на компьютере. Если нажать открыть, то файл откроется на компьютере, а не на телефоне, как я наивно полагал. Т.е. для копирования файлов с телефона на компьютер или наоборот — эта программа не годится. 

На других базовых функциях, которые доступны бесплатно, я останавливаться не буду. В Unified Remote есть уебанская клавиатура и управление проигрывателем. 

По кнопке + внизу экрана можно добавить различные дополнения для управления. Там также замечен контроллер для презентаций, что может быть полезным. Не поленитесь, по ползайте по меню. 

В целом, если вы хотите поиграться со своим компьютером. Управлять курсором мыши с телефона, открывать различные программы, то базового функционала будет достаточно. Можно также устроить неплохой розыгрыш для того, кто работает за компьютером. 

В полной версией программы доступно большое количество ништяков, которые могут быть для кого-то полезными.

If you use windows, make sure to allow «Windows service (Experimental)» option on installation.

After installation, click with right mouse button on icon and go to management panel by click «Manage» (on windows)

Now we are going to set some options to make this integration works without more problems.

• In the left corner, click on Settings section, and on the top bar, click on Network section.

• Now make sure that «» box is allowed.

• For security reasons, you also should disallow «Allow management from a different LAN computer» option.

Next section will be Security, on this one you must change Authetication to «Do not require apps to enter a password before connecting.»

Now, if you’re using Windows, click on «Advanced» tab, and make sure that Enable driver on Windows. box is enabled.

После того, как все необходимое установлено, первый запуск и использование Unified Remote будет выглядеть следующим образом:

1. Запускаем приложение на телефоне: на первом шаге вам предложат войти с аккаунтом Google, но это не обязательно (можно нажать «Skip this step»). Сразу после этого либо отобразится список компьютеров с Unified Remote, к которым можно подключиться, либо, если такой компьютер один, подключение произойдет автоматически.
2. Вы окажетесь на главном экране приложения, где собраны возможные функции удаленного управления, которые будут рассмотрены далее.
3. Если нажать по значку «Плюс», вы сможете добавить новые «пульты», например, для управления медиа плеером VLC, запуска меню «Пуск» Windows (указанные мною элементы бесплатны, но часть предлагаемых дополнительно элементов управления требуют приобретения полной лицензии Unified Remote).
4. В бесплатной версии время от времени вы будете видеть сообщение с предложением приобретения полной версии, как на скриншоте ниже, просто нажимаем «Skip and continue».

Сами элементы управления несмотря на то, что русский язык интерфейса в Unified Remote отсутствует, достаточно просты:

• Basic Input — просто экран для управления мышью (для правого клика — нажатие двумя пальцами), с него же возможен запуск виртуальной клавиатуры и регулировки громкости.
• File Manager — файлы на вашем компьютере. При выборе какого-то файла он запускается именно на компьютере, а не на телефоне.
• Keyboard — клавиатура.
• Media — инструменты для управления воспроизведением медиа-файлов.
• Power — выключение, перезагрузка, выход из системы, блокировка удаленного компьютера.
• Screen — просмотр удаленного экрана (бесплатно недоступно).

Также на компьютере, где запущен сервер Unified Remote вы увидите соответствующую иконку в области уведомлений, по правому клику на которую раскрывается меню. Если в нем выбрать «Manager», в браузере откроется настройка Unified Remote. Здесь, например, можно отключить или настроить «пульты» для разных приложений.

Если открыть «Client», открывается управление в качестве клиента, в том числе возможность использовать элементы управления в рамках браузера. Похоже, управление возможно и между различными компьютерами, а не только с телефона, но убедиться и проверить методы подключения для этого у меня не было возможности.

В целом, приложение удобное, особенно если под вечер у вас нет желания вставать и подходить к компьютеру, который что-то проигрывает или выполняет другие задачи. Можно рекомендовать к использованию.

Our Story

Unified Remote is the result of a hobby project by two Swedish students that began back in 2010.
The goal was straight forward — to create an easy solution in form of a remote app to controlling the programs on your
computer through your smartphone. The idea was to create something with a classic look and feel of a remote
control specifically designed for different programs on your computer.

We began with the first release of the Unified Remote, which was an Android app that contained just over 10 remote control
for programs on computer including Spotify, VLC, WIndows Media Player, Power Point, Power etc. After several thousand downloads
in first few days, we decided to continue the project by creating more remotes and for more platforms.

In April 2011, we released the second version of the remote app, this time offering a full version ($3.99) with additional
features while also releasing an improved version of the free app. Unified Remote gained greater success with thousands of downloads of
both the free and paid versions.

The third version of the app was released in July 2014. This time, we focused on making the interface even more user-friendly and
launching support for more platforms. This included our new iOS app and support for controlling Mac and Linux computers as well.

What Information Do We Collect?

The information we gather enables us to personalize, improve and continue to operate the Services. In connection with
certain aspects of the Services, we may request, collect and/or display some of your Personal Information. We may
collect the following types of information from our users.

IP Address Information and Other Information Collected Automatically:

Установка Unified Remote на компьютер

Скачиваем сервер себе на компьютер тут https://www.unifiedremote.com/download. Находим свою операционную систему и нажимает Download. 

Запускаем процесс установки. Шаги установки я пропущу, потому что кроме кнопки Далее ничего выбирать больше не нужно, но есть несколько дополнений. В процессе установки появится окно об установке драйверов в систему. Выбирать не приходится, поэтому ставим. Также после установки будет предложено перезагрузить компьютер. Я также рекомендую это сделать, но делать это необязательно.

В трее (возле часов) появится значок программы. Через пункт меню Manager можно посмотреть текущий статус программы и другие различные настройки.

Так же через это меню можно выключить сервер, если он вас заебал. Походить по менеджеру полезное дело.

Дальше качаем приложение на телефон.
